The Project
Kingfisher Windows worked on this project at Acre Lane in Oldham with
First Choice Homes Oldham. The project was given the green light by the Oldham Council Planning Committee in November 2017 to address the housing shortage in the area.
This development in Derker saw 51 new properties built: 21 two-bedroom houses and 30 three-bedroom.
We installed our quality
Profile 22 Optima Casement Windows, which met the specifications required for the project.
Construction was completed for homeowners to rent to buy in Summer 2019.
The Products Used
We knew that this project needed the finest window system available, which is why we installed the
Profile 22 Casement Window. This window is multi-chambered and will offer the homeowner an excellent standard of thermal efficiency, security and weatherproofing.
We provided windows fabricated in grey on white, delivering a striking but architecturally sensitive appearance to this housing development.
We also added a touch of France with the Profile 22
French Door profile. This door has a large glazing area, giving the homeowner panoramic views of their garden and improved thermal efficiency.
Built to Standards
Like all the Profile 22 windows we manufacture at Kingfisher, the Optima Casement Window is made to BS EN 12608 standards and manufactured to BS EN ISO 90001. It meets the requirements of the Environmental Management System BS EN ISO 14001 and Responsible Sourcing standard BES 6001. This means these homeowners can have the confidence that their home is built to standard, will protect them and give them many years of quality service.
Thermally Efficient
This development will do its bit for the environment through the installation of our casement windows. The windows offer an A+ energy rating to trap heat within these homes for a long time.
