Palliative Care Centre, Goscote

The £5.5 million Palliative Care Centre in Goscote is the first facility of its kind in Walsall.  It delivers high quality medical, nursing and therapy care for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as offering support for their families and carers. Kingfisher Windows was chosen to deliver its hybrid aluminium timber composite windows and curtain walling system to the development. With aluminium on the outside, the building has a modern inviting look and with the strength of the material, it helps to keep patients safe and secure. We also supplied automatic doors to the building to make access easy for patients, staff and visitors.  Our thermally broken aluminium French doors are also fitted along the outside of one of the exterior walls leading to a seating area and decking, an area patients and visitors can sit in and enjoy the fresh air.
