The Project
Kingfisher Windows worked on the Poppy Place development in Liverpool. This project was worth £110,000 and carried out by
M&Y Construction. The residential development saw a former British Legion building transformed into 12 apartments. Construction was completed in 2018.
The Products Used
We knew that this project would need to be thermally efficient, which is why we used our high quality aluminium windows and doors from Senior Architectural Systems. We fitted SAS Alu Vu Windows, SPW600e Residential Doors and SPW501 Entrance Doors. This aluminium profile will offer the homeowners great levels of security, weatherproofing, thermal efficiency and a great look for the property.
For the ground floor, we install 6.8 laminated glass that is made to PAS24 standards. This means these homeowners can sleep peacefully knowing their property is fully protected. Although the project asked for white windows, we could offer the product in any RAL colour.

The aluminium products we installed for the Poppy Place commercial project were all manufactured to the highest standards. The SAS aluminium windows and doors are both security tested to PAS24 and comes Document Q ready. Our aluminium windows are also built to Secured by Design specifications. This means these homeowners can have complete peace of mind that their apartment is fully protected from modern burglary methods.
