Optima Windows Housing Development Lancashire 

We recently undertook the fabrication and installation of Optima 22 windows for a private housing development in Chipping, Lancashire. The project began in August 2019 and completed in January 2020. The Chipping Homes development project consisted of nine two-bedroom flats, seven three-bedroom houses, seventeen four-bedroom houses and eight five-bedroom houses.  With years of industry experience, we at Kingfisher were more than up to this extensive job! 

Optima Flush Casement and Tilt & Turn Windows

We installed over 300 Optima Profile 22 windows into the Chipping Homes project, combining modern performance with a more traditional look and feel for the development’s village setting. Using 7016 anthracite grey on white provided a heritage aesthetic for the new build homes, with all the benefits of modern performance.  The Optima Profile 22 windows also have a U value of 1.4 W/m2K and are also fully double glazed. This meant that this newbuild would benefit from high thermal efficiency, retaining heat within the properties and potentially reducing energy costs for the brand new homeowners. Our Optimate Profile 22 flush casement and tilt & turn windows are also fully safe and secure. The windows meet the PAS 24:2016 and Secured by Design requirements, as well as the UK and EU requirements as standard. These enhanced safety features have ensured that the new occupants could enjoy a fully secure environment that they felt comfortable to relax in. Additionally, the Optima flush casement and tilt & turn windows we fabricated and installed were full height. This design choice was made to enhance the natural light within the properties, allowing occupants to enjoy panoramic views of their picturesque Chipping surroundings. This also provides the new homeowners with a lighter, airy environment within their contemporary properties.  All of the windows we supply and install are the highest quality and Optima Profile 22 is no exception. With its durable yet lightweight design, these windows were a beautiful yet practical addition to the Chipping Homes new build. As these windows were installed with longevity in mind, the new occupants can enjoy little maintenance. As a result, they will be able to spend more time enjoying their new home and less time worrying about the upkeep! The architecturally sensitive nature of the project meant that getting the right look and feel for the project was essential. The Profile 22 Optima windows we fabricated and installed ensured that the development was in keeping with the local surroundings, without compromising on the security of thermal efficiency.
